Thanks both of you! :-) And yes, I recorded many episodes 10 years ago, However the filesizes were like almost 2GB/episode (Original DTV MPEG-2), plus it was in a strange fileformat, so i couldnt convert it into something smaller. However, Thats not a problem anymore, so when i get the chance i'll convert these episodes with a software i found that can deal with these files.
On another note.. Watching all these episodes again im getting so nostalgic. I totally love all characters, stories and environments they're in! I realize i've forgotten so much of what happened in Sunset beach its almost like watching it for the first time :-)

I absolutely can't wait to see the episodes you're going to convert and share, so thank you so much! ;D I know what you mean, though. I started re-watching the show last May and finished early this June. Took me just over a year. I watched a LOT of SB! But like you, I hadn't watched it in a really long time, so in many aspects it was like watching it all over again It made me very nostalgic, and I wanna watch the whole show over again!

Good luck with the conversions. ;D

Hi, everybody!
I wish you a very happy and successful 2014!
I have just rewatched the first 144 episodes. I have to admit that there are many lapses when speaking of fabula, writing, relisation, but the show has an undeniable charm. I can explain it, but I love it every time!

Yes, SB. does have a certain charm about it, despite some continuity lapses etc. A happy new year to you too.

I totally agree with you both. There's something special about Sunset Beach that is very unique. I don't have that with any other show, but I also think that is because it's the first show I watched Like... not a kiddie show, but a real show.

Hello to everyone still here in this forum! It's quite a strange but also a warm, familiar feeling being around here after such a long time I took some time and strolled around the topics, gosh this was such a great time! I came to remember a few weeks ago that there are actually 20 years since the first episodes started airing. I guess I got a bit sentimental so I rewatched some episodes on YouTube (thanks again to all the uploaders!!!) and my gosh I still love it! Call me nuts, but even if I'm watching it now from a totally new perspective, this show was and still is awesome and great to watch! So hands up for watching SB in 2017 I hope you guys are doing good and that you're all healthy and happy! Sending lots of love and my best regards :*

It's good to hear that you're still a fan after 20 years - I guess that SB. is a hard habit to break.

Compared to a few years ago, there's little activity. Those who are still fans, now gather on Facebook, & I have a YouTube channel, where I've been uploading anything on Clive, including Ben & Meg, for about 9 years. It's quite surprising how much SB. is still loved & missed, after all this time.

Those who are still fans, now gather on Facebook, & I have a YouTube channel, where I've been uploading anything on Clive, including Ben & Meg, for about 9 years. It's quite surprising how much SB. is still loved & missed, after all this time. I know, I'm still so sad that it's over even after all these years. I guess the thing is that this show had so many good sl that unfortunately were dropped at some point of the show, but all in all it could have gone on and on forever hence all the potential in it. The end was actually no end to me. I couldn't and wouldn't believe that everyone stopped scheming and having and causing trouble like over night a lot of family dramas and issues were still unresolved imo. So it could have gone on, plus you know, one or two new characters involved, it would have been brill. I guess I come to realize just now how far evolved the show was (comparing to today's daytime and non daytime series), on some levels it was even ahead of its time I would dare to say. The sls with the Rosario jewls, the shockwave/earthquake, terror island, they were all brill and let's face it: so much unused potential there too. Besides the good plots, I think it was also the fact that fans were actually fond of each character, some more some less, but we grew fond of them and each actor made it special, even villains were good for that matter because they were all the way they were. I remember having mixed feelings about quite a bunch of characters but they were still like a big family, wich made it even harder to say goodbye to them. To me it still is very special to be able to talk with fellow fans around the world about it, and so nice to know the show still remains in the hearts of the fans up until today. I will keep an eye to this board from time to time and hope there will be some chatting/posting in the future. What is the name of your YouTube channel? I would love to have a look
